Gotta go down before you go up
Short post: I'm at the elective interview at Territorial Music Institute.
But on the way here, today, I was reading "A New Kind of Christian" by Brian McLaren. Interesting point that was made.
If you're on a mountain peak, and you want to go up to a higher one, you first have to come down from the lower before you can go up the higher . . .

Des, Maybe you've covered this when I was gone and couldn't keep up, but what are your feelings on the John Piper teaching he calls "Christian Hedonism"? Your last entry seems pretty in tune with it. And, if that's where your heading, where do you fit the SA and its stance on holiness (also Arminianism)? Are they mutually exclusive, or can they all go together?
Sorry, not an interrogation, jyst curious, and since I can't talk about this is person with you, a blog comment it will have to be. I like reading your thoughts.
